BTN- NEPAL and our Geography/Science Unit

August25

This semester, in Geography, we have been focussing on developing our knowledge of Nepal and Mongolia. Children have been completing group research projects that are linked with their science unit on Natural Disasters. We have been paying focus on natural disasters that can occur in these areas. This weeks BTN show closely looks at how the people of Nepal are moving on from their recent earthquake. This topic is of particular interest to our class and therefore we look forward to viewing it.

This weeks homework focus question is-
How has tourism been affected since the earthquake?

I think the tourism since the earthquake in Nepal has been decreased. As right now in that country there is so much damage that the tourist will think that going to that location will be a waste of time, and become worried if an earthquake will happen again, once they arrive in Nepal.
