Well we have started our Global Read Aloud. Our book is Fish in A Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt . We have already started some great activities and our class is really enjoying reading the book so far.
CHAPTER ONE-FOUR
Below is a snapshot of the SKETCHNOTING activity. Students were asked to jot down some images and thoughts about what they had read so far.

Hi Cureton Crew
Those are some cool sketches. At my school our global read aloud is Fish by L. S. Matthews. Our book is about parents who went to a different country with their child to help out with stuff. They built a school and saved people’s lives. Then they everybody left so they had to leave. The child took a fish he found in a puddle with him. Right now they are still on there journey to the border of the other country where they will be able to board a airplane and go home.
